Dental bonding is a simple, conservative way to improve the appearance of your smile. During the process, a dentist will place a composite resin material directly onto the tooth’s surface. Because the resin is putty-like when first applied, it is shaped to fit your tooth and correct flaws. Once hardened, the resin is trimmed and polished.

Dental bonding typically only requires one visit. Bonding can be used to close gaps, improve misshapen teeth, lighten discolored teeth, or to restore a chipped tooth.
